Overview of GASH members and their field of work

The GASH team is mainly European, but with the right mixture of American-based experience and know-how. There are three large research institutions at the heart of GASH: the Institut Français du Pétrole (France), TNO (The Netherlands) and GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences (Germany). Leading universities include: Newcastle (UK), RWTH Aachen University, FU Berlin, Clausthal, Leipzig (all Germany), and VU Amsterdam (The Netherlands). More than twenty national and state geological surveys play a central role not only in regional analysis and application, but also in basic research.
